Went grocery shopping yesterday instead of today. Got lots of good stuff! I kinda started my diet today in a way...I had my wake up drink (which made me want to vomit) and had half an apple for breakfast (which surprisingly filled me up). But, since I was planning on officially starting tomorrow (Tuesday), I had invited my sister to go to lunch with me today. I don't know for sure if we will still go. If we do, my diet will be on hold until dinnertime. If we don't, I'll just make today my start day!

I weighed in at 165.6 at home today and 165 at work. I think I will keep track on both scales.

So far I have had 16 oz of water and half an apple. For lunch, if I go home, I plan on having a salad with fat free dressing. For dinner we are having baked chicken, rice, and veggies. I will skip the rice, though :)

EDIT:  Just had lunch!  I feel good about the fact that I just went home and ate instead of going out to eat.  I had a romaine salad with broccoli and two slices of turkey breast topped with fat free dressing.  Yum!  I got full before I finished it and actually think I may have gotten TOO full.  Gonna have to work on that.  As a mom, I tend to eat really fast.  It's all that time with babies....when you have an infant or toddler, sometimes you gotta eat fast or you don't get to eat at all!  That's a habit I need to break.  I also drank another 8 oz of water at work and 8 oz at home with brings me to 32 oz.  Perfect, since I have the rest of the day to drink the other 32.  But I did underestimate how easy it would be to get the 64 oz in.  It's a lot harder than it sounds.  Going to drink some green tea and have some yogurt for my snack later.  :-)

  2. You are doing good. We weighed in at work yesterday. I am not a happy camper. Got a long way to go. I made Taco soup for dinner last nite. Today for breakfast I had a lean goumet breakfast snacker, lunch was weight watchers entree, celery and carrots. I have also had a yogurt for the am snack and a small tangerine for afternoon. I have not done so well on the drinking of water. I only have had about 20 ounces. I also have had a can of diet dp (which I know I really shouldn't have. But I useually have a large one from sonic which is like 32 ounces. So I did better. For supper I had taco soup. lol

  3. Kari, it's ok. I think it might be an acquired taste. It's not great but not horrible and I think I'll really like it the more I drink it. Lol. There are many different kinds.

    Shelly, good job! Taco soup sounds so yummy. We might try taco salads tomorrow night. It's fun trying new stuff!
